Cape de Formentor, the northernmost point of Mallorca could easily be the setting for a Viking epic, as the steeply sloping mountain cliffs that rise gracefully from the blue Mediterranean Sea could hardly be more impressive. The nearby Muro beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches of the whole Balearic Island and offers great views over the bay and the surrounding mountains.
